MASTERCLASS PROGRAM
Reykjavík Piano Festival is directed at advanced and inspired students of all ages, but primarily university (undergraduate, graduate, artist diploma, doctoral) and dedicated pre-college/high school students. Various components ranging from academic and technical workshops to fun excursions and yoga classes makes this experience one that is both musically and personally fulfilling. Private Lessons and Masterclasses
Each selected participant are offered 4 private lessons with the artist faculty. Masterclass opportunities are also given

Practice Facilities
Each participant is guaranteed 4 hours of practice time on a grand piano, daily. This ensures ample time to grow individually and in between lessons, masterclasses, and workshops.

Workshops
Each of the artist faculty will offer inspired workshops that cover a large spectrum of topics. From a detailed foray into ornamentation in classical-era music, to yoga and meditation workshops, to calisthenics workouts, the goal of these workshops is to deepen the individual connection to music and to challenge oneself in all arenas of life.

Concert Opportunities
Each selected participant will have an opportunity to perform on our student concerts. Selected participants will perform at our final concert at Harpa Concert Hall.
